Cross Country

Cross Country

I was behind the line ready to be let out of this cage, as I see the vast open field in front, I hear people screaming as they play games while I get bitten by small insects, I was oddly terrified by all those intimidating people.

TOOT TOOT, went the horn as we all ran on the wet field as I carefully chose a spot to land my foot like a surgeon slowly picking each individual organ, as I was running I saw an unusual crowd of 6-7 YR cheering us on, it was quite adorable. Once I jogged around the entire track I was soaked with wet dripping sweat. It smelled as smelly as a fish odor, and I also met some prickly stones on the way too as well. I jogged another lap and I reached the final stretch, I ran as my flabby legs can go and there I was…  at the finish line.

I passed the line and slowly strolled down to the concrete with my stiff legs. I was rather happy since I really dislike cross country.
